Cancer

Most of us in this world have been touched by cancer. Whether it’s been a close friend or a family member or just somebody you know. Well we all know how if feels to lose somebody threw cancer, and it hurts. So would you do something, if you could, for cancer research? Like raise money or do a run or shave your head? Just so you know, that’s what I’m doing, since I’ve done the run already. If your answer is yes, would you let your friend or family member talk you out of it?

So say you have a friend who doesn’t support you in what you’re doing. Who you thought would once you told them. Also, you have strong feelings for this person and they know about and now it seems like there trying to use that piece of information to their advantage, to try and talk you out of it. What would you do to try and convince them that what you’re doing is a good thing? What would you say to them? Because this one thing in my life, seems to be ruining this friendship.

I mean shouldn’t a person like you who you are and not how much hair is on their head? Or maybe how you make them feel when you’re talking to them? Or how your always their when they need someone? I mean it’s usually guys shave their head to do this, so why can’t a girl do it for once? I mean that’s the reason they have “girl power”. The saying that goes, “Anything a man can do, a WOMEN can do just as good”. I know that a lot of girls get attached to their hair, but mine always had a mission. My hair was going to grow long so it could be donated to the Cancer Society. So it could serve a bigger purpose to someone who doesn’t have hair, but would like some. Just because their afraid to go to school and to be made fun of because they have no hair on their head. I think that just wrong how someone can just make fun of someone who’d been threw something like that. I mean how immature is that? So giving my hair away to make wigs, is like being there for a friend when their down, when they need some there to protect them. Just because you can’t stand to see them in such pain. So this is why I’m doing this and I’d like to have all my friends support and love me for what I’m going to do and to not hate me for it.

I mean people are beautiful on the inside and outside. So should you really take one over the other? I mean it’s not like beauty is all skin deep. Or is it these days? REAL PEOPLE aren’t like the ones you see in magazines! Were only human! We all have things about us that we like and don’t like, so when it come to our appearance should be up to us, and if it’s going to such a good cause why should it matter? I like to add that I’ve lost over half my family and probably lose more then that over the years. My family has a high cancer rate, and when I was little I didn’t know what that meant. So now that I’ve known about for this long, I’ve wanted to do something for its cause. That’s why I grew long hair in the first place so I could do this. I mean it’s just hair and it will grow a back! But the mean words that someone says to you don’t! I wish my friend could see how much this means to me. Please if you know what “friend” I’m talking about, please don’t say this “friends” name when you reply. Thank you for listing to me everyone.
